Hilton Boca Raton is seeking a Full Time Steward (Dishwasher) to join their outstanding breakfast team!
The Steward (Dishwasher) operates the dishwasher machine, cleans all items of the kitchen and maintains cleanliness of kitchen and areas as instructed. May also assist the kitchen staff with cold food prep and serve as kitchen runner. Occasionally to assist with set up of function room. Must be able to work mornings and weekends.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Set up and organize dish washing area.
โ€ข Operate all equipment assigned to you safely and as designed.
โ€ข Sort and wash all soiled china, glass and flatware using proper cleaning procedures and equipment.
โ€ข Load and unload china, glass and flatware from dishwasher to their appropriate storage area.
โ€ข Maintain dish machine at all times. Ensure temperature on dish machine is correct before using.
โ€ข Keep breakage to a minimum using proper storage and rackage.
โ€ข Stocking of incoming supplies and perishable items, using proper handling.
โ€ข Preparation of food items as needed.
โ€ข Additional cleaning of the entire back of the house.
โ€ข Assist in running food to buffet line and bussing tables when needed
โ€ข Transport wares from dishwashing area and kitchen.
โ€ข Maintain a clean, dry and safe dishwashing area and kitchen.
โ€ข Check and maintain par stock of all service station wares.
โ€ข Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
โ€ข Empty trash bins and scrub and disinfect trash bins as necessary.
โ€ข Clean areas noted on the cleaning list.
โ€ข Assist with the set up on function rooms when needed.
