Position Description Summary:
The Department of Romance, German, and Slavic Studies at The George Washington University invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish, beginning as soon as Fall 2026.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach six courses at the undergraduate level in Spanish language, literature and culture, depending on the needs of the program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Spanish Language Pedagogy or a related field and have native or near-native fluency in Spanish and English. Demonstrated excellence in effective and innovative language teaching at the undergraduate level is essential.
