BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -Product Specialist to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and
possibly 3 days remote.
As an SAP BRIM-Product Specialist, you will support the delivery and optimization of SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) capabilities across the enterprise. This role partners with Product Managers, BRIM SMEs, and technical teams to translate business needs into features, configurations, and user enablement for SAP S/4HANA and BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC). The Specialist ensures solutions adhere to Commonwealth standards, security, and audit requirements while enhancing usability through SAP Fiori/UI.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Delivery & Configuration

    • Assist in configuring SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) per approved designs and best practices.
    • Help prioritize backlog items and prepare features/user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA.

  • Business Analysis & Acceptance
    • Facilitate requirements workshops; validate acceptance criteria with business stakeholders.
    • Support SIT and UAT planning, test execution, and defect triage.

  • User Experience & Fiori Enablement
    • Recommend appropriate SAP Fiori apps; contribute to UI/UX improvements for accounting and operations users.
    • Produce end user guides, quick reference materials, and training content.

  • Data & Integration Support
    • Collaborate with data teams on mappings, reconciliation, and cutover (including delta loads) to minimize downtime.
    • Coordinate with integration teams (SAP BTP/CPI) on API/OData readiness and interface testing.

  • Compliance & Security
    • Ensure configurations and processes meet PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security standards.
    • Support secure payment flows, tokenization, encryption, and role based access.

  • Documentation & Governance
    • Maintain audit ready documentation: process designs, feature specs, test results, lessons learned.
    • Adhere to Commission templates and change management procedures.

  • Operations & Support
    • Assist post go live support, monitor performance, and capture enhancement requests.
    • Work with ServiceNow to track incidents/changes and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years in enterprise product support/analysis, including 2+ years with SAP landscapes.
  • Experience with SAP BRIM (SOM, CI) and familiarity with Convergent Charging concepts.
  • Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori/UI, and basic HANA data navigation.
  • Understanding of secure payment integrations (tokenization, PCI DSS) and audit controls (SOC1/SOC2).
  • Proficiency with backlog management tools (Azure DevOps ADO or JIRA) and test documentation.

Preferred Skills:
  • SAP BRIM or S/4HANA certifications (e.g., BR235/240/245/416) highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP BTP for event-driven architecture and API management.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident/change management and knowledge articles.
  • Hybrid Agile delivery experience; ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business users.
