Job description

Hiring a Paraplanner

We are seeking a Full-Time Paraplanner to join our team at Fidelis Financial Strategies.

This role delivers technical analysis and comprehensive financial plan construction.


Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Work Location: In-office
  • Base Salary: $40,000 – $70,000 (Based on experience)
  • Target Bonuses: Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses


Core Responsibilities

  • Construct financial plans: Input asset, liability, and tax data into planning software.
  • Run scenario modeling: Simulate retirement readiness, cash flow, and estate strategies.
  • Draft planning summaries: Write concise, compliant strategy documents for client presentations.
  • Conduct investment research: Analyze portfolio allocations, fee structures, and historical performance.
  • Manage compliance workflows: Prepare necessary regulatory paperwork and audit trails for advisors.
  • Execute trading tasks: Process portfolio rebalancing and trade execution under advisor direction.
  • Client communication: Facilitate all indirect contacts – monthly emails and letters
  • Prepare annual client updates:  Organize, create and update client plans and tasks, in preparation for and as result of client meetings.
  • Coordinate New Client On-Boarding:   Set the direction for all actions and steps to smoothly and efficiently onboard new clients.


Required Qualifications

  • Preferred Experience level: 2 years of financial planning or industry experience.
  • Preferred education: Financial Management or related bachelor’s degree
  • Optional credentials:  Series 65, Series 6 or SIE or S7/ Life and Health License/  Active Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation or passing score on the CFP exam preferred.
  • Preferred Software expertise: eMoney, Zephyr, Word, Excel, Orion, Holistiplan.
  • Relationship Management systems: Experience managing tasks within Wealthbox, or similar.
  • Communication skills: Ability to explain complex tax and investment concepts clearly in written format.
