Position Overview:

We are seeking a Tax Manager for a growing tax department to provide high-touch tax planning, manage an offshore team for tax prep and filing, compliance, and advisory services to our high-net-worth clients and families. This role emphasizes client engagement and strategic guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver exceptional tax planning, tax prep management, compliance, and advisory services for our high-net-worth clients.

· Manage and review work done by offshore tax team and file a variety of tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120-S, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

· Lead client meetings to discuss tax-related inquiries and provide strategic recommendations.

· Collaborate with internal teams and advisors to ensure comprehensive federal and state tax compliance.

· Analyze tax returns to identify planning opportunities, efficiencies, and potential risks.

· Conduct research on complex tax issues and document clear responses to client and Advisor questions.

· Mentor and train junior tax staff as the department grows.

· Manage and execute special projects as assigned.


Qualifications:

· Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager in a public accounting firm or RIA.

· Experience managing offshore tax team preferred.

· Active CPA certification is required.

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.

· Comprehensive knowledge of tax issues affecting individuals, as well as S-corps, trusts, partnerships.

· Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.

· Experience with Holistiplan is preferred.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications.
