The Role
GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Facility Operator to join our valued client's team in Fort McMurray, AB. This is a full-time position ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The successful candidate will operate and maintain a facility in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, regulatory requirements, and a strong safety culture.
What You'll Do
  • Operate the facility in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain and update SOPs and ensure compliance with regulatory and operational approvals.
  • Assist internal and external customers with logistics and create customer-specific solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and schedule third-party contractors as needed.
  • Issue Safe Work Permits and oversee third-party contractor compliance.
  • Accurately track and log all incoming and outgoing fluids.
  • Perform hazard identification and incident reporting.
  • Manage administrative tasks including ticket filing and plant balancing.
What You Bring
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Mechanical background.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and email).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and be on-call.
