Job description

Coaches Coach Here.
That's the job. No sales. No lead generation. No invoicing. You coach. We handle everything else.
If you've been in this industry a while, you know how rare that is. Most coaching jobs slowly turn into something else. This one doesn't. The coaches who do their best work here are the ones who got into this to help people and never stopped seeing it that way, whether that started in a gym, a classroom, a clinic, or a business of their own.
Who We Are.
Redefining Strength helps women 40+ get stronger, leaner, and out of the all-or-nothing dieting cycle, with training and nutrition built for what their bodies actually need through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
We've been doing this since 2014. More than 10,000 women have gone through our 1:1 coaching program and over 75,000 have used our other programs. For you, those numbers mean three things: a roster of clients with room to grow, a methodology proven across thousands of real women, and a company that will still built to be here years from now.
What our clients say about their coaches.
From real, public reviews:
"My coach was a true partner in my health and fitness journey. She was knowledgeable, kind, and gave me a kick in the butt when I needed it."
"My coach treats me like I am her only client."
"She is my cheerleader, always giving affirmation even if I'm having a rough day."
"Thank you Allison and Michelle. I appreciate you both more than you will ever know."
Our clients name their coaches in reviews. The recognition here is earned through the work.
Requirements
What you'll do.
This is not easy coaching. Our clients are women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond who have tried everything. They arrive carrying decades of diet damage, injuries, and self-doubt. Some show up motivated. Some don't. The mindset work is harder than the macros, and it's most of the job.
You'll build their programming and nutrition around their bodies, their injuries, their schedules, and their lives. You'll run check-ins, adjust constantly, re-engage the ones who go quiet, and dig into why someone keeps stalling instead of just handing her a new plan.
Here's the standard: when a client wins, that's her win. When a client fails, that's on you. Not because you control her choices, but because the coach who looks at her own approach first is the coach who gets better. Our best coaches have been doing this for 10+ years and still ask what they could have done differently. If that standard sounds unfair, this isn't the place. If it sounds like the only way coaching should work, keep reading.
Who thrives here.
  • Coaches with 5+ years of real experience, including online coaching, who hold current training and nutrition certifications
  • Coaches who specialize in or are drawn to women in midlife: menopause, perimenopause, postpartum and beyond. Many of our coaches are living this season themselves
  • Former studio owners, solo online coaches, and career changers from teaching, healthcare, and other helping professions
  • Communicators. Most of this job happens in writing and video check-ins, and warmth has to come through a screen
  • Coaches who miss having colleagues. You'll join weekly coach meetings, get mentorship, and sharpen your craft alongside a team that takes coaching as seriously as you do

Benefits
  • Onboarding Pay starts at $35,000. Average pay for a full time coach ranges between $72,000-$100,000+ depending on client load, with room to grow as your roster builds
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Fitness reimbursements + continuing education reimbursement
  • 401(k)
  • Fully remote with nutrition support from RDs and a genuinely collaborative team culture
