Gynecologist – Midlife Women’s Health & Menopause

MFM Health | North Shore, Massachusetts

Opportunity Overview

MFM Health is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Gynecologist to join a well‑established, physician‑led Women’s Health practice on the North Shore of Massachusetts. This is a unique opportunity to step into a thriving, 20+ year community‑based practice and play a central role in expanding a growing Midlife Women’s Health and Menopause Program.

The practice includes an experienced Gynecologist, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and a highly skilled support team. Physicians benefit from strong primary care referral integration, a stable patient base, and the ability to shape a focused clinical niche within gynecology.

This is a gynecology‑only role with no obstetrics, no hospital call, and no inpatient responsibilities.

Clinical Focus & Practice Model

This role is designed for a physician who wants to practice full‑spectrum gynecology with a strong emphasis on:

  • Perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopausal care
  • Hormonal and non‑hormonal management strategies
  • Uterine health, including abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids
  • Endometriosis and complex pelvic pain
  • Preventive and longitudinal women’s health care

The practice is actively building a destination‑level Midlife Women’s Health & Menopause Program, with opportunities for leadership, program development, and clinical innovation.

Surgical & Procedural Practice

Physicians have access to surgical care through affiliated community hospitals with experienced OR teams and robotic surgery capability.

Procedural scope includes:

  • Office‑based gynecologic procedures (IUDs, Nexplanon, endometrial biopsy, colposcopy, and others within scope)
  • Gynecologic surgical procedures, including hysterectomy and other advanced procedures as appropriate
Practice Environment
  • Established Women’s Health program serving the North Shore for over 20 years
  • Collaborative, multispecialty environment including Primary Care and Urogynecology
  • Strong internal referral network within a growing independent health system
  • Highly experienced clinical and administrative support team
  • Opportunity to help define and lead a regional menopause‑focused program
Lifestyle & Structure
  • Monday–Friday outpatient schedule
  • No obstetrics
  • No hospital call or inpatient responsibilities
  • Employed physician model with competitive compensation
  • Productivity‑based and quality metrics bonus structure
  • Occurrence‑based malpractice coverage
Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology (or OB/GYN)
  • Eligibility for unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure
  • Strong clinical and surgical gynecology background
  • Interest or experience in menopause medicine strongly preferred
  • Certification through The Menopause Society (or willingness to obtain) preferred
  • Interest in uterine health, abnormal bleeding, and complex gynecologic care
  • Commitment to collaborative, patient‑centered care
