We are seeking highly motivated and qualified part time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA / C.N.A.)to join our nursing department.

The Neville Center at Fresh Pond is located in Cambridge, close to the Belmont line.
As the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) some of your essential job responsibilities include:
  • Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
  • Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
  • Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to provide care to participants in a manner that promotes as much individual independence as possible. Such techniques include walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility.
  • Applies knowledge of infection control, fire and disaster policies as needed.
  • Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS for the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):
  • A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Massachusetts.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English. Other languages are helpful.
  • Has basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
