About the RoleMilitary Flight Control Division (MFCD) in Dublin, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our production team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on supporting manufacturing operations on the production floor — not a desk-only position.
You’ll be the first line of defense for troubleshooting issues related to equipment, parts, and prints, while also driving process improvements and supporting assembly/test operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and improve complex manufacturing processes and equipment.
Provide technical support to production teams on the floor.
Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement / Lean / Kaizen initiatives.
Evaluate and refine manufacturing workflows for efficiency, cost, and safety.
Prepare and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.
Drive quality improvements through process control, testing, and root-cause analysis.
Participate in capital equipment projects and layout planning.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related discipline).
6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong background working on the manufacturing floor (not purely office-based).
Proven experience with manufacturing process improvement, workflow optimization, and production support.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
