Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Dublin, GA

About the Role

Military Flight Control Division (MFCD) in Dublin, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our production team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on supporting manufacturing operations on the production floor — not a desk-only position.

You’ll be the first line of defense for troubleshooting issues related to equipment, parts, and prints, while also driving process improvements and supporting assembly/test operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and improve complex manufacturing processes and equipment.

  • Provide technical support to production teams on the floor.

  • Lead or participate in Continuous Improvement / Lean / Kaizen initiatives.

  • Evaluate and refine manufacturing workflows for efficiency, cost, and safety.

  • Prepare and maintain work instructions and process documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues.

  • Drive quality improvements through process control, testing, and root-cause analysis.

  • Participate in capital equipment projects and layout planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related discipline).

    • Candidates without an engineering degree will not be considered.

  • 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong background working on the manufacturing floor (not purely office-based).

  • Proven experience with manufacturing process improvement, workflow optimization, and production support.

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
