What You Will Do:

As a Manufacturing Manager, you will quickly assume significant ownership, driving operational excellence and strategic projects within our plants. Your responsibilities will blend technical problem-solving with leadership and project execution, including:

  • Process Engineering & Optimization:Lead identification and elimination of losses, design and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, improve OEE, and enhance product quality using data analytics.
  • Converting & Packaging Engineering:Lead development of web-processing and equipment solutions, champion 3D modeling and mechatronics, and drive optimization of packaging lines for efficiency and cost.
  • Control Systems Engineering:Lead design, development, and implementation of advanced automation, control networks, robotics, and industrial software solutions. This includes managing site electrical systems, facilities upgrades, warehouse automation (e.g., AGVs, automated racking), and driving utility and logistics projects.
  • Manufacturing Project Management:Lead capital projects (typically $2M+) from concept to handoff, managing scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership & Capability Building:Drive HS&E and Quality standards, build long-term capability by coaching teams, and lead adoption of digital solutions, robotics, and control systems.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Industrial & Systems, Manufacturing, Operations Management).
  • Experience:0-5 years of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, research experience, academic projects count!).
  • Technical Curiosity & Acumen:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop comprehensive technical solutions, and interpret data to drive decisions. A strong technical curiosity and understanding toproactively develop new approaches to complex problems.
  • Project Mindset:A strong desire and demonstrated capability to lead projects, manage timelines/budgets, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:Demonstrated leadership potential and experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders (from operators to senior management).
