Location: Kennesaw, Georiga

Compensation

  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Project Engineer / Project Coordinator to manage projects from order release through final installation. This role works closely with customers, production teams, vendors, and field personnel to ensure projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and with exceptional customer service.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, solving problems, and serving as the central point of communication throughout a project's lifecycle.

Candidates with backgrounds in construction, manufacturing, architectural products, commercial interiors, building materials, or installation coordination are strongly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from order release through installation
  • Coordinate schedules between production, shipping, customers, and field installation teams
  • Track project milestones and proactively communicate status updates
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and project issues to keep work moving forward
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely deliveries and successful installations

Customer & Team Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
  • Build strong relationships with customers through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Review project requirements and confirm order details
  • Communicate design revisions, schedule changes, and project updates with internal and external stakeholders

Project Review & Planning

  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for accuracy
  • Verify field measurements and installation requirements
  • Coordinate project changes and communicate updates across departments
  • Ensure materials, documentation, and resources are ready prior to shipment

Delivery & Installation Support

  • Coordinate shipping schedules and installation timelines
  • Work closely with field crews, subcontractors, and production teams
  • Verify project readiness before materials leave the facility
  • Follow up after installation to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project completion


Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project engineering, construction coordination, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Preferred

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, architectural products, commercial interiors, millwork, glazing, specialty construction, or industrial manufacturing
  • Experience coordinating deliveries, logistics, or installation teams
  • Ability to read construction drawings or shop drawings
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or project management software
