Position Overview

This role is responsible for coordinating freight movement by posting loads on load boards, sourcing and negotiating with carriers, communicating with customers, and scheduling freight deliveries. Over time, you will build and manage your own carrier base while strengthening customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities

  • Post available freight on load boards daily
  • Proactively call and source carriers to cover loads
  • Negotiate competitive rates with carriers
  • Communicate with customers regarding load status and updates
  • Schedule and confirm freight pickup and delivery appointments
  • Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Develop and grow a reliable carrier network
  • Build long-term relationships with carriers and customers
