Job description

Isotopia is a global biotech company manufacturing key ingredients for pharmaceutical cancer drugs. At our US headquarters in Indianapolis, we will be close by our key customers, delivering our products just in time, each day, every day. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented team member to join our dynamic radiopharmaceutical company. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely packaging, shipment, and delivery of our radiopharmaceutical isotope products. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal teams, manage logistics operations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organization skills, supply chain expertise, and a deep understanding of regulatory compliance within the radiopharmaceutical industry. You will be part of a family, a team, dedicated to our mission to deliver on our covenant with our customers.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare packaging for radiopharmaceutical isotope products, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain prompt communications with customers and the sales team to communicate orders, logistics, successful delivery of final products, and billing.
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, US DOT, and applicable regulatory guidelines during transportation and storage.
  • Arrange shipping logistics, including selecting carriers and scheduling shipments to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination, monitoring progress and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure successful and on-time delivery of products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and logistics data.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, regulatory affairs, and finance, to ensure seamless final product flow and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with transportation partners to optimize shipping methods, reduce lead times, and manage transportation costs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • May assist with and/or provide local delivery of customer packages in the Indianapolis area.
  • May be required to be available on the weekend

Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
