Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our culinary team at Liscio's Italian Bakery, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality pizzas and managing all aspects of pizza preparation, from ingredient selection to baking. This role demands a high level of energy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings according to our traditional recipes.
  • Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment with proficiency and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pizza preparation and serving areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Ensure all pizzas are prepared to a high standard and in line with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality or service.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the food industry, specifically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in food preparation, with a preference for skills in baking and pizza oven operation.

  • Available to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
