SCHEDULE FOR OUR INVENTORY CONTROL ASSOCIATE:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
YOUR ROLE AS AN INVENTORY CONTROL ASSOCIATE:
In this role, you'll manage Vendor Managed Inventory processes by monitoring inventory, analyzing usage trends, and coordinating timely replenishment. You'll play a key role in shipping and receiving by handling incoming deliveries, stocking materials, and preparing items for distribution. Additionally, you'll be cross-trained in production functions, giving you the flexibility to support workflow demands, maintain efficiency across departments, and ensure operational standards are consistently met.
In order to do this, you'll need the following:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21+ years old
  • 2+ years of driving experience in all weather conditions
  • Valid Michigan driver's license with a clean record
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Ability to use tape measures and digital calipers
  • Typing speed of 25+ WPM
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and analyze data, identify trends, and forecast inventory needs accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable and willing to drive in all types of weather

Experience in supply chain, logistics, ERP systems (Epicor a plus), and knowledge of hydraulic components are preferred.
