Description
The Inventory Supply Chain Specialist/ Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Representative is responsible for supporting assigned customers by acting as a key communication link between customers and internal departments, while ensuring inventory levels meet contractual requirements. The role involves daily review of open orders, ongoing supply chain analysis, monthly metrics reporting, and annual customer forecasting, as well as coordinating with internal teams to complete quality analysis and corrective actions. The VMI Representative must work independently and collaboratively, maintain accurate data through Excel uploads and ERP systems, follow company safety and quality procedures, and deliver error free work in a fast paced aerospace environment focused on customer service and operational excellence.
