Job Title: Inventory & Supply Chain Manager

Job Type: Full-Time

SUMMARY

The Inventory & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain coordination to support DHIโ€™s Permian facility and Permian operations. This position serves as the primary owner of all facility inventory, ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining optimal stock levels, and supporting operational readiness through effective planning, forecasting, and inventory control.

This is a hands-on leadership role that requires active involvement in both the office and warehouse environment. The Inventory & Supply Chain Manager will manage inventory transactions within NetSuite ERP, conduct warehouse and yard inspections, oversee receiving activities, coordinate replenishment planning, and work closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations, and field personnel to ensure critical equipment and materials are available to support customer operations.

RESPONSIBILITIESInventory Management & Control
  • Serve as the primary owner and gatekeeper of all company inventory.
  • Manage inventory transactions, replenishment planning, and inventory reporting within NetSuite ERP and Salesforce.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Conduct routine warehouse and yard inspections to verify inventory condition, organization, location, and availability.
  • Oversee receiving, inspection, verification, and putaway of incoming materials and equipment.
  • Monitor slowmoving, obsolete, excess, and critical inventory while implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through established inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain proper inventory locations, labeling, and warehouse organization.
  • Assist with inventory system design and implementation.
  • Supply Chain & Forecasting
  • Analyze inventory usage and consumption trends to forecast future inventory requirements.
  • Develop stocking strategies that minimize operational downtime while controlling inventory carrying costs.
  • Forecast inventory requirements for operational equipment including pumps, valves, fittings, tires, rotating equipment, and related components.
  • Coordinate purchasing requirements and replenishment activities with the Procurement Department.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders as necessary to maintain inventory levels.
  • Ensure critical spare parts and operational inventory remain available to support field operations.
  • Continuously evaluate inventory levels to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary inventory costs.
  • Responsible for sourcing and contracts when primary buyer is out of office.
  • Supports getting quotes for EGS projects
  • Supplier & Cross-Functional Support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve product availability, service levels, and lead times.
  • Work closely with Operations, Warehouse personnel, Division Managers, Procurement, and Field Teams to support daily operational needs.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure inventory valuation, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting remain accurate.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and supply chain performance.
  • Communicate inventory shortages, delays, and supply chain concerns to leadership.
  • Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Train and crosstrain employees on inventory management procedures, receiving processes, warehouse organization, and NetSuite transactions.
  • Promote accountability for inventory accuracy throughout the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, inventory visibility, and operational processes.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives that support company growth and operational excellence.
  • Administrative Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are entered accurately and timely within NetSuite ERP.
  • Complete required reports, inventory audits, and reconciliation documentation.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding inventory status, shortages, operational concerns, and project progress.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • EDUCATION

    Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.

    EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum five (5) years of inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain, materials management, or related experience required.
  • Experience supporting inventory operations within oil and gas, industrial services, water treatment, manufacturing, or energy industries preferred.
  • Experience utilizing NetSuite ERP, Salesforce, or comparable enterprise inventory management systems.
  • Experience conducting physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory audits.
  • Experience forecasting inventory requirements and managing replenishment planning.
  • SKILL REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Excel, and inventory reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving abilities.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
  • Strong leadership and employee development skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Familiarity with pumps, valves, piping systems, rotating equipment, tires, and industrial inventory preferred.
  • APICS, CPIM, CSCP, or related supply chain certification preferred.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS
  • Regularly works in both office and warehouse/yard environments.
  • Frequently walks warehouse facilities and outdoor storage yards while performing inventory inspections.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust.
  • Exposure to moving equipment, forklifts, industrial machinery, and other warehouse hazards.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform inventory inspections for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • WORK SCHEDULE

    Full-time onsite position with work schedules varying based on operational and business needs. Additional hours may be required to support inventory activities, physical inventories, audits, and operational priorities.
