Our client is a rapidly growing Northeast Ohio manufacturer of infrastructure-supporting equipment. Their technology supports the operations of several Fortune 100 companies. The company pairs highly advanced manufacturing technology with an engineering culture built on quality, safety, and attention to detail, backed by a portfolio of patented innovations. Our client is scaling their team and internal systems to keep pace with surging demand for AI and data center infrastructure.


Compensation: The pay range for this position is $30-$40/Hour. 


HRIS Specialist

This role owns and optimizes our client's Paylocity HRIS environment, partnering closely with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition to keep the system secure, well-integrated, and running at full capacity for the broader HR team. Success looks like a stable, well-documented HRIS platform that supports HR operations with minimal disruption and a system administrator who brings genuine curiosity to solving technical problems.


As an HRIS Specialist, you will:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's HRIS platform, ensuring system integrity, performance, and security
  • Own system configuration, updates, and enhancements that support evolving HR processes
  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline HR and payroll workflows
  • Support HR systems implementation projects, including third-party integrations via RESTful APIs
  • Administer supporting system architecture, including virtualization platforms, storage management, and related infrastructure components
  • Conduct system tuning and performance optimization for the HRIS platform and its supporting infrastructure. Analysis of current system setup with the ability to recommend improvements and implement changes.
  • Manage Active Directory environments, user access controls, and security protocols to safeguard sensitive HR data
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to system architecture, software, and network configuration through to full resolution
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR data integrity
  • Support system design for scalable HRIS solutions across functions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on systems and applications support, solution architecture, and configuration management
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides


As an HRIS Specialist, you have:

  • Proven experience with Paylocity (3+ years of systems administration), managing and optimizing the platform as a system administrator
  • Hands-on technical troubleshooting and HRIS System optimization
  • Knowledge of information security practices relevant to protecting HR data
  • Strong problem-solving and technical writing skills, with clear communication in technical support contexts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agile environment while maintaining attention to detail

 

Work Location: This position is onsite, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, and requires that qualified talent be in or near Streetsboro, OH.

Placement Type: Temporary

Estimated Schedule: Full-time

Expected Assignment Length: 4-6 months, with potential to extend based on business need
