Job description

S&L Hospitality, along with this location, is currently accepting resumes for Hotel Front Desk / Guest Service agents.

Ideal candidates for this role with have prior customer service experience, the ability to provide exceptional service, the ability to work independently, and the ability to problem solve. This position has the potential to be scheduled between the hours of 6am and 11pm, availability for weekends and holidays is required. 

Key Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Successful history as a front desk agent or related customer service experience.
  • Understanding of how to use hotel's Property Management Software (PMS) systems.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Task-driven individual who is able to focus on the guest, ensuring complete satisfaction with each transaction/interaction.
  • Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work with little supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Represents the first point of contact with guests and handles all stages of a guest’s stay.
  • Accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally.
  • Acts as the information liaison for the property and guests using all communication avenues. 
  • Serve as point of contact to up to date information regarding the hotel, area attractions, and events. 
  • Process and collect payments, accurately adhering to all cashier procedures. 
  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area.

Physical Requirements may include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Exposure to indoor/outdoor temperatures with the location of the front desk near the main entrance.
  • Exposure to various noises and volumes with regular use of computers, telephone, printer/scanners, radios and TVs near the lobby.

Must be able to successfully pass a background check as it relates to the job responsibilities for this position.
