Warehouse Associate
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to facilitate our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Associate responsibilities include storing materials, picking orders, loading/unloading trucks, and overall ownership of the warehouse cleanliness and organization. The Warehouse Associate will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a Christ-centered atmosphere in and around the warehouse area at all times.
  • Unload donations of household goods, food, and other materials from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  • Load and unload trucks- sometimes with forklift and sometimes manually.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage.
  • Transport materials to buildings when requested.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
  • Maintain effective use of the warehouse storage area by organizing floor space.
  • Share the Gospel with clients, donors, and volunteers when opportunities arise.

Skills
  • Proven experience as forklift (including stand-up) operator.
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination.
  • Valid certification to operate forklifts.
  • Experience operating a pallet jack.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • High school diploma.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks for the day

Work Environment
This position works in heated warehouses and outdoors in all weather conditions year-round

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour.
