Job description

Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for a growing car wash organization. This role partners closely with operations leadership to provide actionable financial insights, improve profitability, and support strategic decision-making across multiple locations. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting knowledge with advanced analytical skills and experience utilizing ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the organization.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Partner with operations leadership to evaluate business performance, profitability, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and provide datadriven recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue, membership trends, labor costs, and operating expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and internal controls.
  • Utilize ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, to manage financial data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Performing timely and accurate monthend journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., net assets, investments, revenue, expenses, payroll allocations, etc.), ensuring that accounting schedules are updated and accurate.
  • All other duties assigned by your direct supervisor.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other relevant field is required.
  • Proven previous experience as an accounting manager or higher position.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financerelated tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word); Adobe Acrobat knowledge preferred.
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Ability to pass preemployment screenings including background check, drug screening, and MVR (if applicable).

  • This position will work at the corporate office.
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible fulltime schedule including working some evenings and weekends.
  • Hours of work include, but are not limited to, the hours of operation. Current hours of operation are 7 days a week, 7:30 am9 pm, closing only December 25th. Typical corporate office hours are Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm.
