Job Summary
Assist the head and assistant football coaches with daily operations including, but not limited to, researching and reviewing statistics of individual athletes or teams to provide insights and to help prepare the team for individual games.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Head Football Coach and Assistant Coaches with the day-to-day management and administration of Football including, but not limited to the following:
Research, analyze, and create statistics of individual student-athletes and opposing teams to provide insights to assist with a weekly game plan.
Breakdown of game films.
Assists with practice planning with coordinators and assistant coaches.
Weekly self-scout/quality control analyst.
Help ensure an environment that is committed to the best interest of all student-athletes consistent with their education, ethical, social, and physical development.
Foster a commitment to diversity and and inclusiveness throughout all levels of the organization.
Develop a clear vision and strategic plan for the department that will ensure the Department's success in being fiscally responsible while complying with all University regulations along with state and federal laws.
Understand and communicate the value of athletics to the overall mission and strategic plan of the University to both internal and external constituencies.
Effectively provide accountability for all matters within the department of athletics in collaboration with the Athletics Director.
Additional duties as assigned by Director of Athletics or Head Football Coach.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred; advance degree preferred.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Strong communication skills and an ability to work effectively with multiple constituent groups.
Unwavering commitment to fiscal integrity and responsibility along with a proven record of upholding high ethical standards both personally and professionally.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, community, diversity, and gender equity.
Must demonstrate an appreciation of university culture and tradition.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
