Summary/Objective
The Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing the written and digital content that connects Threaded Fasteners, Inc. to its customers, prospects, communities, and employee-owners. This position owns the day-to-day execution of internal and external digital marketing activities including social media management, blog and website content, search engine optimization, online reputation management, Google Business Profiles, email marketing support, and press releases. Working closely with the Creative Coordinator and marketing leadership, the ideal candidate is a skilled writer and digital communicator who understands B2B audiences and can translate complex industrial products and company culture into clear, compelling content that reflects the mission of the Threaded Fasteners, Inc. Family of Companies.
Essential Functions

Content Creation & Writing
  • Writes and publishes blog articles, knowledge center content, and educational resources aligned with SEO strategy and content calendar.
  • Drafts press releases, company announcements, and PR-style articles for distribution and website publication.
  • Creates social media copy for LinkedIn, Facebook, and other approved platforms; schedules and publishes content using the company's social media management tools.
  • Develops and maintains email marketing content including newsletters and campaign communications.
  • Writes and updates website copy across the TFI and TFM web properties to ensure accuracy, consistency, and search performance.

Digital Presence & Online Reputation
  • Manages and maintains all Google Business Profiles across TFI and TFM locations; ensures listings are accurate, current, and optimized.
  • Monitors online reviews and digital reputation; coordinates response strategy in alignment with brand voice and company guidelines.
  • Supports basic SEO practices including on-page optimization, meta descriptions, and content tagging.
  • Tracks and reports on social media and website performance metrics; provides regular summaries to marketing leadership.

Sales Enablement & Marketing Support
  • Assists in developing written content for sales collateral, line cards, product one-sheets, and trade show materials in collaboration with the Creative Coordinator.
  • Sources and organizes content from subject matter experts across the organization for use in blogs, FAQs, and educational resources.
  • Supports the development of the company's content calendar and ensures consistent publishing cadence.
  • Owns and maintains the company content calendar; coordinates scheduling, approvals, and publishing cadence across all digital channels.

Internal Communications
  • Manages and updates The Bolt, the company's internal website and intranet, on a regular weekly basis including posting photos, news, and announcements that keep employee-owners informed and engaged.
  • Coordinates internal communications content by gathering updates, photos, and information from departments and leadership across TFI locations.
  • Supports the development and distribution of internal digital communications including newsletters, announcements, and milestone recognition.
  • Works with HR and leadership to ensure internal messaging reflects company culture, values, and approved communications standards.

Coordination & Process
  • Collaborates with the Creative Coordinator to ensure written content and visual design are developed in parallel and delivered together.
  • Maintains organized content libraries, brand voice guidelines, and digital asset folders for shared team use.
  • Manages incoming content requests from across the organization and triages based on priority and strategic alignment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations / Distribution or President.

Competencies
  • Exceptional written communication skills across multiple formats (short-form, long-form, conversational, technical)
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including LinkedIn and Facebook; familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Cloud Campaign, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or comparable CMS for website content management
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) management
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and collaboration platforms. Job duties may occasionally require visiting Threaded Fasteners, Inc. facilities or attending trade shows and company events to gather content, capture information, or support marketing activities.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some travel and on-site content gathering may require standing, walking, or light lifting of marketing materials or equipment.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Travel
Some travel is expected with this position, including trade shows, branch locations, and company events.
Required Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, journalism, English, digital media, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated writing experience, including samples across formats (articles, social media, web copy, or similar).
  • Proficiency with standard office and content tools including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience managing social media accounts or a content calendar for a business or organization.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Semrush, or Yoast) and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar).
