Bilingual LMFT/LPCC needed for a local school district for the 26/27 school year!


 Position Details: 


Start Date: August 2026

Hours Per Week:35 hours a week 
Location: Homeland, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday school hours - 7 hours a day

Length: Full 2026/2027 School Year

Requirements: Bilingual (English/Spanish). Experience supporting Elem-Highschool ages. Preferred schools experience. LMFT or LPCC Accepted.

What you’ll do:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to school-aged students
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Develop and support IEP/504 goals related to social-emotional and behavioral needs
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral concerns
  • Support crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Provide consultation and strategies to staff to support student success in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and service logs
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
What you need:
  • Active California LMFT or LPCC license
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (required)
  • School-based experience (required)
  • Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential preferred but not required
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a school environment
  • Availability for the full 2026–2027 school year

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention.  The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span. 

Minimum Requirements:


  • Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required
  • Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required
  • Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable 
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) 
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements?
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
