Front Desk Receptionist – Full-Time

Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care retirement community in Annapolis known for exceptional service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, providing outstanding customer service, and working in a professional and supportive environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • No Weekends
  • Holiday coverage required as scheduled

What You'll Do:

  • Welcome residents, visitors, vendors, contractors, and family members with professionalism and warmth
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously
  • Create and process work order requests for residents and staff
  • Assist residents with transportation requests, guest room reservations, and activity information
  • Maintain front desk records, key logs, directories, and communication logs
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments
  • Assist residents with copying, faxing, and other clerical needs
  • Communicate important updates and information to appropriate departments
  • Help ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Must have experience using general office equipment (i.e. postage machine, telephones, copier, fax machine, etc.).
  • Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and tact in dealing with others.
  • Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.
