Overview

The Director of Business Intelligence is a senior leadership role reporting to the SVP of Business Applications. This position is responsible for setting the strategic vision for enterprise-wide business intelligence initiatives. The Director will lead the development and execution of data strategies that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making across the organization. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders.

The Director will oversee a multidisciplinary BI team, fostering a culture of data excellence and continuous improvement. They will collaborate with executive leadership, IT, finance, and business units to align BI initiatives with corporate goals. This role demands a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights and drive enterprise-wide adoption of BI tools and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the enterprise BI strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable BI solutions using Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with C-level executives and department heads to identify data opportunities and deliver strategic insights.
  • Drive data governance, quality, and standardization across all business units.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing BI team, fostering innovation and accountability.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by promoting data literacy and self-service analytics.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for BI initiatives, ensuring stakeholder engagement and successful delivery.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the impact of BI initiatives on business performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new BI technologies to support evolving business needs.

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation for this role is $130,000 - $190,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
