Location: Allen, TX OR Wichita, KS (100% onsite from day 1, all 5 days onsite)

Job Type: Contract / Full Time

GC/USC only.

  • Aircraft Structural Design Exp is Must (Exteriors of the Aircraft) not interiors.
  • Not more than 20 yrs of exp, ideal candidate 5 to 15yrs of exp. 
  • Candidates currently working with Boeing /Spirit Aerosystems will not be considered. 
  • MRB Liaison Engineer with Design Aerostructure experience.   
  • Aerostructure Design Exp is MUST   

Must Have Skills

  • MRB Disposition (Concessions, Tags, Quality notifications)​
  • Expertise in CAD Tools like CATIA
  • Laison Engineer- Managing cross-functional teams to close the dispositions
  • Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Airplane Design  with 5-15 Years Experience (Like Boeing, Gulfstream, Textron)

Job Description:

  • MRB / Non-Conformance Disposition:
    • Review, analyze, and provide technical dispositions (use-as-is, rework, repair, scrap) for non-conforming products within the boundaries of Federal Aviation Regulations and OEM delegated requirements.
    • Expertise in production and design processes including aircraft repair methods.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
    • Support, investigate, and implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of issues.
  • Liaison Duties:
    • Bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and suppliers to resolve production problems quickly.
    • Manage cross-functional teams to accomplish engineering initiatives.
  • Documentation:
    • Process engineering changes (ECR/ECO) and maintain compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FAA, AS9100). 
    • Maintain detailed records of engineering analyses, concessions, and reports for audits and certification. 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of aircraft design, structural analysis, and familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) DOORS and SAP.
  • Soft Skills: Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving abilities, particularly under high-pressure production schedules.
  • Experience: 7-10 years Aircraft experience in MRB , structural design is typically required.
