Job description

Pinnacle Home Health is looking for a full-time Billing Representative (BR) to join our Billing Team.

The Billing Representative (BR) works within the billing department to submit and follow-up on authorization for agency services sent to various payors as necessary, verification of home health benefits for referrals, promptly responding in a professional and knowledgeable manner to requested information from internal sources as well as payer sources, and other insurance verification and authorization duties as needed.

This is a full-time position in our corporate office; Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00am โ€“ 4:30pm.

Pay based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verification and Authorizations assigned: Works from alerts and tasks verifying insurance on each referred patient; Enter authorizations as they are approved; Maintains Authorizations records.
  • Notify the Billing Manager of items/issues that need to be addressed.
  • Perform other duties as requested/assigned
