Job description

Engineering Documentation Coordinator

Location: Midland, Texas
Employment Type: Full-time | Salaried || 50 hr
Openings: 1
Qualification: BE/B.Tech – Mechanical

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate development of as-built/as-is engineering drawings for existing facilities.
  • Coordinate deliverables such as:
    • P&IDs
    • C&E diagrams
    • Electrical One-Line Diagrams
    • Wiring & Loop Diagrams
    • Plot Plans / Hazardous Area Classification
    • Process Control Narratives
  • Conduct field visits in Midland to validate existing equipment and ensure drawing accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the ExxonMobil drone team when required.
  • Develop and maintain Gantt charts for project timelines and priorities.
  • Track facilities with engineering documentation gaps and coordinate scope with the Uncon “Foundations” project.
  • Work with the Information Management team to ensure documents are properly stored in ACONEX.
  • Coordinate with a remote team of LTTS drafters rather than personally creating all drawings.


Ideal Candidate:

  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Technician-level engineering documentation experience.
  • Strong coordination and project tracking skills.
  • Experience working with engineering drawings/documentation.
  • Comfortable conducting field visits and validating equipment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of ACONEX, Gantt charts, and engineering documentation workflows would be beneficial.
