Will AI eventually replace medical coders?

AI technology is advancing in medical coding, but full automation is unlikely in the near future. Many organizations also foster a supportive team environment with regular feedback and professional development opportunities, which helps coders continuously improve their skills and adapt to industry changes.

What pays more, CCS or CPC?

For medical coders, Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certifications generally lead to higher salaries compared to Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentials, especially in hospital or facility settings.
