Job description

This position will report into the order management team, and supports the fulfillment, logistics and execution of bulk, residential new construction, and specialty orders. Order Fulfillment Coordinator is responsible for multiple projects or orders at the same time that will require them to work with cross-functional teams in order to execute procurement and logistics strategies to best serve the client’s needs. Works to align procurement and logistic strategies with various cross-functional areas to improve processes and strategies for current and future projects. Serves as a one point of contact for the clients, and executes as needed through regular calls, meetings, e-mails, etc. as needed.

Position Responsibilities may include:

  • Enters and works to fulfills orders according to client needs
  • Works closely with local branches and factory to ensure order fulfillment
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain accurate and efficient fulfillment
  • Assist customer in ensuring correct product selection and matchups
  • Monitor logistics to make sure deliveries run smoothly
  • Returns inventory as needed
  • Runs open order reports regularly
  • Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs

Nature & Scope:

  • Works within well-defined instructions
  • Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks 
  • Work is closely supervised

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable interacting with cross functional teams
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A strategic and analytical mind

Competency:

Experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in supply chain or operations role

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
  • Associate degree a plus 

People Management: No
