We are seeking a Sr. Director of Fulfillment to lead our warehouse and fulfillment operations while helping shape the future of our business. This leader will drive operational performance, develop high-performing teams, improve customer outcomes, and leverage data and technology to create a best-in-class 3PL experience.

Position Summary

The Sr. Director of Fulfillment is responsible for all aspects of warehouse and fulfillment operations including receiving, inventory management, replenishment, order fulfillment, shipping, labor management, customer performance, and operational continuous improvement.

This role owns operational execution while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product & Innovation, Transportation, and Finance to ensure King consistently delivers exceptional service and profitability.

The Sr. Director of Fulfillment reports directly to executive leadership and is accountable for operational performance, client satisfaction, employee development, and achievement of financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all fulfillment operations across receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Meet operational standards and drive execution against service commitments.
  • Ensure labor resources are aligned with customer demand and volume fluctuations.
  • Drive operational consistency across all shifts and business units.
  • Develop scalable processes that support future growth.

Customer Success & Service Delivery

  • Own fulfillment performance for all client accounts.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales to ensure client expectations are achieved.
  • Participate in client business reviews and operational reviews.
  • Develop corrective action plans for service failures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client efficiency and value.

Labor & Productivity

  • Establish productivity standards and labor management processes.
  • Drive improvements in:

  • Utilize operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build accountability throughout the leadership team.

Inventory & Quality

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain operational compliance and process adherence.

Technology & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with Product & Innovation to maximize utilization of Deposco WMS and supporting technologies.
  • Lead implementation of automation and process improvements.
  • Utilize operational dashboards and KPIs to drive decision-making.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Champion data-driven management practices.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Experience utilizing WMS platforms and operational reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to drive productivity and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • 3PL fulfillment leadership experience.
  • Deposco experience.
  • E-commerce fulfillment experience.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certification.
  • Experience leading operational transformation initiatives.
