Fuel Sales & Logistics Representative
We are a fast-growing gasoline wholesale and logistics company with an established track record of success. We strive to provide a professional experience for our customers. Our main office is in Acworth, GA, this will be your home base.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • The commercial sales representative is responsible for executing sales to generate new business, increase revenue and build relationships with existing clients.
  • The person in this position will be responsible for managing the negotiations with new business possibilities and provide contracts when necessary.
  • To develop strong client relationships through effective communication in all aspects of the sale process.
  • The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently or on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of fuel and transport business is essential.
  • Would need to be on the road visiting different states and targeted opportunities approximately 50% of the time.

Detailed job duties include:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for new business which would include new C-Stores, Farm and Agriculture accounts in certain areas. Includes negotiating with existing customers for additional business.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Work closely with management to develop an understanding of hauling opportunities to maximize revenue potential.
  • Build relationships with prospects through effective communication between them and the local division team members.
  • Manage all aspects of marketing efforts from initial concept development through completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high levels of quality control across departments.
  • Provide technical support on various types or stages of selling such as: product development, pricing, and negotiation
  • Demonstrates knowledge of fuel industry standards and works to stay within those guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Transport Knowledge
  • Minimum three (3) years of supply chain inventory management, materials procurement, contract negotiations, accounting and maintenance functions, or related experience.
  • Logistics background (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience
  • Must be detail-oriented to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Strong communication skills including presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Someone willing to travel the United States 50% of the time
  • Fuel/Gasoline experience preferred but not necessary
