TE Certified has recently expanded its Plumbing service department with a new location in Jonesboro, GA. TE is looking for a Residential Plumbing Service Manager to spearhead our company's growth. This is an excellent opportunity to fast track your career in the Plumbing service industry and comes with major perks and responsibilities. This position requires someone with the knowledge and skill to successfully run and improve a service department.


Ideal candidates should:

  • Have significant residential Plumbing experience, excellent troubleshooting and training abilities, and a good understanding of the residential Plumbing service and sales process.
  • Be able to run a service department and handle management-level responsibilities, including recruiting, training, coaching, and instructing Plumbing service technicians.
  • Be comfortable fielding technical phone calls, as well as handling difficult situations and demanding customers.
  • Be confident riding along and training new technicians.
  • Be able and willing to teach technicians how to repair and install plumbing systems, as well as train on customer service and sales.
  • Be comfortable and confident operating a first-class plumbing department within an established business.

This position is well suited for a senior technician or manager with strong technical abilities and good management skills who lives in or near the Jonesboro, GA area.

Requirements

  • Valid Georgia Plumbing License. A Master's license is a plus!
  • Excellent knowledge of plumbing service and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Significant experience in RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING SERVICE. Management experience is not required but is strongly preferred.
  • Live within 25 miles of Jonesboro, GA.
  • Drug-free with a clean background and driving record.
  • Be flexible, growth orientated, and work well with others.
  • Be excited and passionate about Plumbing.
  • Be willing to work Saturdays and off-hours as needed.
  • Be willing to train and hire new team members.
  • Be willing to multi-task and transition between field and office responsibilities.
  • Be willing to attend training and classes.
  • Have a prepared resume.
