Construction Project Manager (2–5 Years Experience)

Location: Los Angeles County & Orange County, California
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up multifamily (podium, garden, wrap) projects throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. This role is ideal for a professional with 2–5 years of construction project management experience who is ready to take ownership of projects from preconstruction through closeout while working closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and field teams.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who can effectively manage budgets, schedules, quality, and client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Monitor job costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and permits.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support procurement and subcontractor buyout processes.
  • Assist with project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of construction project management experience, project engineering, or similar experience.
  • Experience managing commercial, multifamily, residential, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, education, or tenant improvement projects is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, and cost control.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Valid California driver's license and ability to travel between job site.
Typical Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary: $95,000 – $140,000
