Overview

Position Type Full Time

Description

Job Purpose: Service guests by maintaining control over all Cage transaction activities in the Casino.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for operating cash drawers and verifying various cash tickets.
  2. Responsible for accurate pay out transactions.
  3. Responsible for balancing drawer at end of shift.
  4. Maintain compliance with gaming procedures and regulations.
  5. Provide friendly and courteous guest service.
  6. Prepare Count In/ Count Out report for supervisor's signature of approval.
  7. Professional appearance (well-groomed).
  8. Performs other duties and projects as required by management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing and visual acuity.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).

Working Conditions:

  • Typical of that in a busy casino with heavy cigarette smoke accompanied with a variety of noises and communications.
  • Flexible hours (week-ends, nights, holidays)

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the prescribed methods of the application and completion of federal cash reporting requirement forms including Title 31 compliance regulations.
  • Knowledge of the characteristics of appropriate and inappropriate greetings and interaction with guests and patrons.
  • Ability to work any shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Documents that establish both Identity and Employment Eligibility.
  • Kickapoo Tribal Gaming License.
