Job description

Belle Plaine Public Schools is currently accepting applications for substitutes for nurse absences during the school year.ย  Substitutesย will work in the nurse's office, under the direction of the School Nurse, Rachelle Kerkow.ย  RN, LPN, or comparable medical training suchย EMT or military medic certification required.
Criminal Background Check
Effective on January 1, 1996 the District put into place the requirement of a background check on all possible new hires. The MN School Board Association verified that this rule does include substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, coaches as well as other positions that supervise students. Minnesota Statute 123B.03 states fees incurred from this request are the responsibility of the individual and not the District requesting such.

Belle Plaine Public Schools uses the Frontlineย Substitute Placement System.ย Upon receipt of a clean background check, you will be entered into the Frontline software system toย  receive notice of available substitute needs by phone as well as the ability to log on to Frontline to review upcoming available positions and customize your availability.ย If you have questions onย the Frontline software, please contract Beth Wadsley (952-873-2419)ย at the District Office.ย
