What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor the front desk area, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments, and support visitor check-in processes in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs, reports, and other documentation related to incidents, visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related front desk matters.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, following established screening procedures, and reporting concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
