Liv Endodontics, a specialty endodontic practice in Livingston, NJ, is seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk / Insurance & Financial Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who can confidently manage both front desk operations and insurance/financial responsibilities in a fast-paced dental environment.
Position Overview

This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent patient experience, and accurate insurance and financial processing.
General Front Desk Duties

  • Greet patients professionally and provide exceptional customer service
  • Answer multi-line phones, schedule and confirm appointments
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, assistants, and patients
  • Handle incoming referrals and coordinate appointments with referring offices
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front office workflow
Insurance & Financial Duties

  • Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
  • Explain treatment plans, insurance coverage, and patient financial responsibility
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles, and payments at time of service
  • Submit insurance claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
  • Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, pre-authorizations, and appeals
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing and financial procedures
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of dental office experience (required)
