Position Summary:
The Transfer Center RN is responsible for coordinating direct admissions and hospital transfers to and from community hospitals with the intent to transfer each patient to an appropriate Tenet hospital. The position works collaboratively to foster relationships with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs in representation of Tenet Healthcare Mission and Values. Works closely through collaboration with clinical, medical staff and leadership teams to identify, trend, and report barriers to patient access and throughput.
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
Preferred: BSN
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience in an acute care setting, to include Charge Nurse, House Supervisor or other related management experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
