Job description

Food And Event Delivery Driver - Midlothian

At Roots, we are passionate about making healthy food taste awesome. We strive to empower people through natural food and believe in the potential of humans to do great things. We believe that great food can fuel any lifestyle--whether you choose to participate in a Netflix marathon or an actual marathon.

The role involves delivering food from Roots to our customers. This is much more than just grabbing a pizza and dropping it at a front door. Sometimes there will be set up of the food involved. Sometimes you will be carrying a 30lb box down a hall, up an elevator, and down another hall. You will need to have access to an email and a working phone at all times. You'll be interacting with our customers via phone and in person - making you a face of Roots.

Please note this is a contracted position, not a position of employment.

Expected pay: average $40+ per delivery

Skills, experience, and requirements:

  • This will be approximately 5 hours a week for the first month or two, growing to 10 hours a week over the next 6 months, should you be interested in taking on the extra time
  • Must have a very flexible schedule (Will get an email with orders by 8:30a for that entire day, but general availability between 10a - 7p Mon-Fri is required)
  • Must have a driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable car
