Serving over 400 foodservice distributors, 30,000 independent and national chain restaurants, and marking our presence in the top 40 U.S. retailers, we continue to enrich dining experiences with the flavors of the Mediterranean.
Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods Corp is seeking a 1st shift FSQA Technician for Elk Grove Village, IL. You will test and inspect products to ensure finished products adhere to the established quality standards and meet regulatory compliance.
What you are going to be doing...
  • Test and inspect product at various stages of production - this includes dimensions, weight, temperature and performance.
  • Led vendor chemical management, SSOP compliance, and team training. Analyzed food safety KPIs and co-developed trend reports with the QA Manager.
  • Responsible for managing environmental monitoring test schedules, related finished product testing in collaboration with production schedulers - assigns testing to appropriate FSQ Technician(s)
  • Conduct on line inspection and process control limits.
  • Compile and evaluate data to maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Understand and enforce principles of HACCP, GMP and GDK Foods quality standards

What you need to have...
  • Associates degree: Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related life science preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing environment in a QA/QC role
  • Knowledge of trend analysis preferred
  • Ability to work overtime and flexibility in work hours (24-hour operation)
  • Varied temperature environment - (hot & cold environments)
