Join our growing Human Resources team! As the Employee Recognition Coordinator, you'll help create meaningful recognition programs that celebrate employee contributions and strengthen our workplace culture. Working with leaders across the organization and community partners, you'll coordinate initiatives that make employees feel valued while supporting an exceptional employee experience.
Hiring Range: $26.33 to $35.10 (Hourly)
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Employee Recognition Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and coordination of SCF's employee recognition program, identifying recognition opportunities, organizing recognition events and tracking program metrics to evaluate impact and inform improvements. This role partners with internal department leaders and external vendors to ensure recognition efforts are consistent, well-communicated, and aligned with SCF's mission and vision.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
1. High School diploma; OR GED.
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent combination of education and experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as an HR Assistant, Background & Credentialing Assistant, Benefits Assistant, Recruiting Assistant, Supervisor I, or similar position at SCF.
Alaska Native/American Indian Preference in Employment
