Part-Time Position

Do you love food, cooking, entertaining, and meeting new people?

At Olivas de Oro Olive Company, we believe great food brings people together. We're looking for enthusiastic team members who enjoy creating memorable experiences while sharing our award-winning California extra virgin olive oils, artisan vinegars, gourmet foods, and locally crafted products.

You don't need to be an olive oil expert—we'll teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is a positive attitude, a passion for hospitality, and a genuine desire to help our guests discover new flavors they'll love.

What You'll Do

Every day is a little different, but responsibilities include:

  • Welcome guests and provide an exceptional tasting experience
  • Guide visitors through olive oil and artisan food tastings
  • Share product knowledge, recipe ideas, and serving suggestions
  • Help guests select products and complete purchases
  • Represent the Olivas de Oro brand with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm
  • Process sales using our point-of-sale system
  • Prepare and ship online orders
  • Restock merchandise and maintain attractive displays
  • Open and close the tasting room
  • Keep the tasting room clean, organized, and inviting
  • Assist with special events and other duties as needed

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys talking with people
  • Passionate about food, cooking, entertaining, or local products
  • A quick learner who can multitask while paying attention to detail
  • Dependable and enjoys working as part of a small team
  • Organized and comfortable using a computer and point-of-sale system
  • Retail or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to serve and pour alcoholic beverages.
  • Available to work weekends and some holidays
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
