General Function
Previous formal project management experience in a construction setting is ideal.
General Function:
Coordinate resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. This position will contribute to a safe and inclusive working environment with respect for a diversity of backgrounds and ableness.
This is a 3-month contract that may be extended

Duties and Responsibilities
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet with clients to take detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
Communicate project status consistently (weekly/bi-weekly as appropriate) with project team and stakeholders
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Perform a formal project closure and communicate lessons learned to leadership
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Manage multiple high priority projects at once
Coaches employees/staff as required to assist with milestones/deadlines
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and 5 years of related experience; or an Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution and 10 years of related experience.
Previous Experience in Construction Project Management
A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required at time of application. Certified Associate in Project Manager (CAPM) certification is preferred.
ITIL Foundation certification is required (or should be obtained within 9 months of appointment.
Certifications relevant to the items in Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics are preferred
Knowledge and skills in one or more areas of network telecommunication, system administration, analysis, design, and database management in terms of concepts, techniques and operating principles are highly preferred
