PURPOSE OF THE JOBThis position supports the servicing of all commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans by ensuring accuracy in all aspects of loan administration and by maintaining high standards in the support of lending personnel, compliance, documentation and quality control.MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOBProcess and book new and renewed loans to bank?s system of record, ensuring accurate accounting of proceeds and bank fees.Perform quality control of loan input and maintenance.Escrow administration.Maintain loan records as required.Perfect and maintain the bank?s lien position in collateral by filing mortgages, UCC?s, DMV titling, re-inscriptions and continuations.Review of loan documentation for adherence to bank loan policy and ensuring lending compliance on commercial, consumer, and mortgage loans.Adherence to federal flood insurance requirements and collateral protection of bank?s assets.Process paid loans by preparing lien release documents.Daily audit of core system reporting for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and financial reporting requirements.Reconcile general ledger accounts related to loan activity.Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Loan Administration Manager.WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor?s degree in business preferred2 years Loan Administration experienceFive years previous banking experience preferredExtensive knowledge of loan compliance and documentationMust possess strong communication skills both written and verbalAcquire, retain, and demonstrate a knowledge of Home Bank loan products, systems, documentation, policies, and complianceProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordMust exhibit strong attention to detail, in addition to excellent clerical skillsMaintain good personal motivation; develop a sense of ownership of job tasks and results.Comply with all Bank policies and procedures.Exercise good judgment when problem solving both internally and externally.Must display a genuine concern for resolving customer concerns.Must be available to work assigned shifts (if part time) or between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday thru Friday, with availability to work additional hours as neededHOME BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERGOOD CREDIT IS A MUST CREDIT REPORT IS REQUIRED FOR EMPLOYMENT
