You will work in a bustling outpatient clinic environment, directly interacting with patients and healthcare providers. The setting is designed to ensure optimal patient experiences, featuring well-equipped exam rooms and a supportive team that collaborates to provide seamless care. The clinic is open weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no need for night or weekend shifts, allowing for a balanced lifestyle.

As a Medical Assistant at our clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Preparing patients for examinations and medical procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about what to expect.
• Accurately documenting patient vitals, medical histories, and clinical updates in electronic health records (EHR) to maintain precise and detailed patient information.
• Assisting healthcare providers during exams and routine care, such as helping with minor procedures and performing necessary clinical tasks.
• Managing referrals, laboratory orders, and follow-up communications to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment planning.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, keeping supplies fully stocked for efficient operations.

Your primary focus will be on diverse patient populations requiring outpatient care, including those with chronic conditions needing regular monitoring and individuals seeking preventive care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to address each patient’s unique healthcare needs and develop personalized care plans, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required for this role.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and California clinical compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, with a preference for candidates experienced with Epic.

While prior experience in a California outpatient setting is preferred, we welcome candidates who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a home care or similar community-focused setting can be advantageous.

This position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $60 to $80, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
