Job description

Battery storage projects require a communication network between several pieces of equipment (battery, inverter, SCADA...) as well as remote access. The networks-cybersecurity engineer defines the network architectures and supports their commissioning. They provide support on tenders and operational sites.


  • BS degree in Systems Engineering preferred, other disciplines considered.
  • Min 5 years of experience in systems engineering environment or professional work environment.
  • Fully fluent in English. French speaking a plus.
  • Skilled in MS office (including MS Project), PLM and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Moxa, RedLion and Firewall Fortinet, Cisco and Hirschmann switches, fiber optics, Rj45 ethernet

  • Defines the network architecture of the BESS installed at teh customers' premises as an integrator
  • Participates in client led meetings and relevant projects
  • Perform work on routers such as Moxa, RedLion and Firewall Fortinet, Cisco and Hirschmann switches, fiber optics, RJ45 ethernet
  • Define the network architecture
  • Interfaces with internal and external teams (subcontractors) when setting up and configuring networks
  • Provides technical and functional expertise on the network and cybersecurity elements during the implementation of projects
  • Studies, analyses, and recommends technical viable and cost optimized choices related to BESS network and cybersecurity system design and application
  • Sets up template files allowing the creation of configurations based on "standard" architectures of network and cybersecurity network system designs
  • Develops and updates project documentation (Word/Excel/Visio/PowerPoint) to document BESS network and cybersecurity designs and implementations in the field for projects
  • Develops BESS network and cybersecurity test procedures and monitors their execution
