Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Persian Speaking Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including geriatrics and emergency medicine, and will be committed to delivering high-quality care.

Duties:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Help with meal preparation and planning to ensure nutritional needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Monitor clients' health by observing changes in physical or mental condition and reporting any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility using appropriate techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress and needs.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare field is preferred, particularly in settings such as Level I or Level II Trauma Centers, teaching hospitals, or inpatient care environments.
  • Familiarity with geriatric care principles and emergency medicine practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
