Job description

The Senior Director of Marketing is a key member of the leadership team responsible for developing and executing brand, marketing, and communications strategies that drive guest traffic, increase revenue, and enhance brand equity across Quality Branded. This role oversees digital, social, PR, partnerships, and local store marketing, ensuring that each concept remains competitive while staying true to its unique identity. The Director works closely with Operations, Culinary, and Finance to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and guest experience standards.
Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and manage an internal/external marketing team, including digital, advertising/paid media, PR, and social media functions.
  • Foster collaboration between marketing, operations, and culinary teams.

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, photographers, and freelancers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective execution.

Key Responsibilities

General

  • Refine brand positioning and storytelling for each restaurant concept.

  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new restaurant openings, including launch campaigns, media outreach, and opening events.

  • Coordinate with Operational leadership for all designated neighborhood engagement, promotions, and activations deemed necessary for each restaurant.

  • Coordinate with Creative leadership on all F&B development, especially annual planning to align with key marketing goals.

  • Develop annual marketing plans, campaigns, and budgets to drive sales growth and guest engagement.

  • Ensure all creative and messaging are consistent with the companyโ€™s brand standards and values.

Digital Marketing

  • Retain and manage either internal or external digital marketing resources.

  • Lead digital marketing efforts, including website, email marketing, loyalty programs, and SEO/SEM.

  • Oversee social media strategy and content creation to build strong online communities and engagement.

  • Leverage guest data and analytics to personalize outreach and measure ROI on campaigns.

Advertising & Paid Media

  • Retain and manage either internal or external Advertising resources.

  • Develop and execute targeted paid media campaigns across search, social, and programmatic channels to drive reservations and private dining inquiries.

  • Manage overall advertising budgets, optimizing spend for customer acquisition cost (CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Collaborate with creative teams or external agencies to produce compelling ad copy and high-quality visual assets.

  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, adjusting tactics in real-time to meet revenue and foot-traffic goals.

Public Relations & Partnerships

  • Retain and manage either internal or external Public Relations resources.

  • Manage PR strategy and relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to generate coverage and awareness.

  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations to enhance visibility and reach.

  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the group at industry events and community activations.

Social Media

  • Retain and manage either internal or external Social Media resources.

  • Develop platform-specific strategies tailored to the unique identity of each high-end NYC concept.

  • Direct on-site content capture, coordinating photo and video shoots to ensure a consistent pipeline of engaging, culturally relevant visual assets.

  • Manage daily community engagement, actively interacting with followers, responding to inquiries, and monitoring online reputation.

  • Track social media analytics to measure audience growth, engagement rates, and platform conversions.
